On the 9th of February the Mayor of Benalmádena, Enrique Bolín, presented certificates for Quality Management (ISO 9001:2000) and Quality Environmental Management (ISO 14001:2004) to the head of Ciudad Verde. Mábel Hidalgo Berutich. Also at the ceremony, which took place in the Town Hall, were the deputy Mayor José Nieto and the City Councillor for the environment, Sebastián Carretero.
Present on behalf of S.G.S. ICS IBERICA S.A., the accrediting organisation granting the awards of certification for quality management and quality environmental management, was their director for Andalusia, José Manuel Vera. The Association of Trade and Commerce of Benalmádena (La Asociación de Comerciantes y Empresarios de Benalmádena (ACEB)) was represented by their Vice President, Jésus Peinado.
Within the Province of Malaga, CIUDAD VERDE, located in Benalmádena, is the first landscape gardening business to obtain such certification. Now, after thirteen years of carrying out quality work and respecting the Environment CIUDAD VERDE has certification of its work policy as a guarantee of the services it offers.
The certificates of Quality Management (ISO 9001:2000) and Quality Environment Management (ISO14001:2004) de SGS are the seals of quality applicable to all departments of the business.
These standards implement a series of basic principals to manage the quality of all the different work processes: the initial design of the garden, its construction, and maintenance etc., right through to the end of each client’s job. With this certification, Ciudad Verde has formal national and international standards recognition of the quality of its service.
